New to the board from AZ
« on: March 03, 2014, 04:52:23 pm »
Greetings from the Phoenix Valley.  I'm currently on my 3rd Third-Gen.  My first was a 1978 K25 regular cab step-side.  That had a NP203 mated to a TH350, and just a regular ol' 350 under the hood.  6 inch suspension lift on 35s for a while, then 33s to curb inner fender rub at turn lock without getting new rims.  Had to part ways with that truck and I've missed it ever since.  Next was a '74 C10.  Nothing special, regular cab short bed.  No lift, 350 and a TH350.  Used it to pull my pop-up camper.  That wasn't really enough room, as if I went camping with more than 1 other person we had to take 2 vehicles.

So, I sold that and began looking for a crew cab.  Which brings me to my third and current truck, a 1984 C30 Crew Cab long bed Camper Special.  Power windows, power locks (3 of 4, anyway) one of the previous owner installed a gooseneck (which needs to be re-done).  I'm selling off my current push/brush guard and bumper and I'll be welding up a new bumper, front hitch, maybe a winch mount, because "why not?"
