Hello From MA
« on: March 24, 2014, 09:48:26 am »
New owner here!  Recently bought an 87 step side.  I had a plan to lift it and throw on some 35's and call it done.  However, while doing some routine frame cleaning discovered some serious rot. Now the truck is getting a complete frame swap!  I'll start a thread on that later this evening.  Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to learning as much as I can from you folks.  Now for some pictures.

That's how the truck sits before the build.  Here's a shot of the rot.

Finally, the donor frame with, what looks like to me, to be a 6" all spring lift.

Stay tuned!
Todd

Welcome from California.  Nice start, look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Thanks everyone.  I'll post a link to my thread that will document the whole build once I finish typing it up.
