Hello everybody. Yet another new guy dropping in on your forum. Long story short, I have not owned a truck of any brand for many years. A few months ago, to help out my brother, I bought a cheap Chevy S10. I was instantly hooked! As soon as my bro got back on his feet, I sold the S10 and bought this 1987 GMC 2500. I stumbled on this rig, totally by accident and bought it on the spot. I am now completely hooked on Chevy trucks. I have all kinds of plans for this old girl, but paint and a 3/4 drop kit are the biggest "must do's". The truck runs absolutely awesome, doesn't smoke, doesn't leak and pulls like a bandit. Gotta' love 350's! What I was really concerned about was finding a solid, rust free truck. Though its not showroom new, it truly is a rock solid unit in almost completely original condition, except for the fuel tanks. I can't wait to dig into her and start fixing her up. I have been skimming your forum and its given me SO MANY awesome ideas, I am almost dizzy. I will have a million question and hope to post a ton of pics.
Here's a couple BEFORE pics, you can be sure there will be many, many after pics.

Welcome from Utah! Looks like a you may have a rust issue starting on the cab corners. Clean truck though.
