Newbie from NE Texas

I am a Newbie from Mount Pleasant ,Tx (NE Texas area) I have had several Squarebody trucks , and always end up with another shortly after selling last one , lol. My current truck is an 86 Chevy c20, Custom Deluxe, Plain Jane, long step side that I bought off of my father in law , I am the third owner. I really enjoy the 86 because it is pretty much original and a no frills real truck. Looking forward to watching other guys projects being built and researching things for my project .Thanks, Mitch !

Going to keep it pretty stock , maybe a TBI conversion . I am thinking of changing the back wheels to the Camper Special style 16.5 x 9.5 , they look cool and clean with the hubcap tucked in deep like that , may have some custom 16x 10 wheels made since the 16.5 tires are harder to come by.

Welcome from DFW. I get out to East Texas a couple of times a year (seeing family). I always see lots of squarebodies there.

Yes there are an abundance of Square body trucks in this area for sure. Of coarse swb being the most popular ! I have had a blazer , long beds , shortwide ,4x4 and 3/4 tons , loved them all ! I have several guys in my area that are experts in parts and trucks close to me.
