Finally have moved... Howdy from Kansas
« on: April 09, 2014, 12:24:23 am »
So after having accepted a promotion and subsequent transfer beginning on December 30 and living in Temporary Quarters for 3 months: We've sold the old house in Oklahoma, closed on the new house in Kansas and all our stuff is now here in SE Kansas (my 'treasures' being the hardest to move).

Congrats on the promotion!  It must be a relief to have the move behind you.  Glad to see you back!

welcome back!
  Thank you!

So how do you like Kansas ?
I've really liked the town so far, everybody has been real friendly. I still have lots of unpacking and chores around the house (including a fence) to do.  One of the farmers has already informed me he has a '73 Chevy truck that he may be willing to sell...

Thank you, just haven't really had much time to do any posting.

Congrats on the promotion!  It must be a relief to have the move behind you.  Glad to see you back!
Thank you very much. I'm glad to have the family back together, as well as not having to live in a tiny motel during the week and make the drive back & forth...  With this 'endless winter' it always seemed to snow on Sunday which made the drive back to KS that much more tedious.

Less tornado activity... at least less reported.
I really hope & pray that tornado's avoid us... Very scary... Plus, I still haven't fixed the damage to the GMC from the last tornado...  :P
