1985 K20 budget flatbed build

I figured I would post a quick story about my recent flatbed I put together. It should make for a decent intro to the site and a good resource for those who are searching the internet for pictures of k20 flatbeds. I bought the pickup for $900 and found the flatbed for $500. I upgraded the lights to LED lighting and used scrap metal for the install. I spend a little bit of money for a good truck mudflap and split it in half. Next is 2.5' superlift and 255/85 BFG KM2's. I will post pics after I get the lift installed.

That is a fast way to make a flatbed.

This is strictly a curiosity question. Why do you need so many flat beds ? Or do you just like having a flatbed.

I do stump grinding. I use them to haul my small machine while still being able to tow my big machine. I have two k20's for this task. The C30 is converted into a firetruck for fire season.

I never posted a final picture of the finished k20 flatbed so here it is in full service.

Those three marker lights in the center rear are only required on vehicles over 80 inches wide, is your flat bed over 80" or do you like the look?
