Radiator years?
« on: May 01, 2014, 11:44:23 pm »
Need a radiator for my 77 C10. I know 73 to 80 will fit. What about newer or older years? There's always someone parting out a Chevy truck here. I just need to know what will fit so I can go check some of them out.
Also, will Van or Car radiators of the same era fit?

afaik there is only 5 rad for our trucks that being said one might fit a 250 but not 262
so it all depends on the core thickness and height
17", 19" or 20 5/8" in height
the width is either 28 1/4" or 20 3/4
and the depth is 1 1/4" 1 or 2 rows, 2 1/4 2 rows or 2 1/2 2 rows
so best thing is to measure yours and go from there

Also be aware that if change heights you also need the top piece to match. I just went to Oriellys and got a 4 core for mine. It wasn't terribly expensive and fits good. But that was about 6- 8 years ago or so.
