Dad fell off a ladder, prayer request
« on: May 07, 2014, 07:18:59 pm »
Having one of those couple of not so nice week and my brother calls to let me know my Dad is in ER, he fell off a ladder.  So far all I know is that he has a skull fracture, 3-4 bleeds and the hospital is arranging a Care Flight to a trauma hospital with an excellent Neuro wing.  He's 76 and has no business on a ladder but...  Anyway Prayers would be appreciated.  I am 7 hours away in upper Michigan away on business, heading home before sun up more than likely.

You got mine.  This hits real close for me.  When I was 5 my dad fell off a ladder and died.  My brother in law is in a coma now from (you guessed it), falling off a ladder.
So I wish him a speedy recovery and prayers will be coming.

Dad's update: Moving out of ICU to a regular room. He can walk and maneuver around pretty good. They want him to get up so pneumonia doesn't set in from inactivity but all signs are that he is on his way to a full recovery, PTL!!!!!
