I have this under my dash and it's broken and I have no clue what it is. here's a pic of a not broken one

Clutch "Neutral" Safety Switch to prevent cranking the starter before the clutch is pressed.

In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!

Also known as the 5 second panic switch. For those once in a while moments where you try to start the truck without pressing the clutch and nothing happens.

Mine is bypassed... by the PO and that is how it is gonna stay

Haha. Well my trucks an auto, but if I had a stick I would not bypass it cuz sometimes I get in a hurry and don't pay attention and that would be the time I start it and smack the car in front or behind me. I drive cars for works so I can get my stick shift fun there.
