Shocks
« on: May 19, 2014, 10:10:21 pm »
I'm looking to switch over to nitrogen shocks.  Any recommendations on brand and length? My pickup is an 82 K1500, 350, with a 4 in. lift.

Why are you thinking of running nitrogen shocks ?  Are you going to be jumping or live on a long stretch of wash board gravel road that you have to converse every day ?
Nitrogen shocks resist heating up longer than regular shocks do, so in a abusive environment it is ideal.  The only nitrogen shocks I have ever used were Monroe and Fox.  I really could not tell the difference between the 2, they were both on rock crawlers that mostly saw trail use and only drove on the streets to get to the trails.
#1: The easiest and most obvious solution to any problem is 99% of the time correct.
#2: There is no such thing as impossible, it just takes longer.
