Shop truck logo
« on: June 02, 2014, 08:29:00 pm »
On my latest project I am considering lettering it.  I am looking for different design ideas.  I have googled shop trucks and didn't see anything I'd like.  All I know as I'd like to have Zieg85 and Hebron, IN and maybe a truck in the 73-87 longbed in the middle...  Any artists out there???

Are you wanting this all on the same panel, like the door ?  Or maybe door and front fender and split them up ?

Are you thinking true 3d or just a decal with lettering?

I am thinking a stencil that I could airbrush the letters on perhaps.  Not ruling out any ideas though.

I see. My buddy owns a sign shop and does a lot of vehicle lettering and decals. If you decide to go that route I'll see if he can come up with something.

Thanks, still in the pondering stages.  I'll try to put something down, take a picture and post it up and get you all's opinion of it...

Yes, maybe bigger block letters for the top and smaller at the bottom. Thanks

Zieg it is not for your ext cab is it?? Cause I have some reg cab square bodies that I already vectored, so I could have them embroidered on Dickie's work shirts. I could make a logo pretty easily if it does not need to be your ext cab. let me know

Here's a few examples of what I got, I also have vectored crew cabs too. My logo would not be in the final one obliviously (I just do that so they do not fly around the internet).

Here a straight on view that is just stenciled:

Here is one I used for my shirt, its a vector 70s chevy:

Not my extended cab.  I like the straight shot, be better if it was a 85 grill.  Zieg85 over the top block letter curved and Hebron, IN under straight across in smaller letters.  How hard would it be to take a picture and turn it into part of a stencil?  I have a straight on shot in my desktop I would like.  It is a straight shot of my 85C20 that I like a lot.

My 2 cents, I agree the bottom letters need to be smaller than the top letters.

If you want it of your C20, because of a certain reason let me know, and I can try stenciling it depending on quality of photo and lighting. But here is it with a 80s grill. Let me know if there is something else you want. Once we get it way you like I will send you copy of the one with out my logo thru it.

Stencil with 80s grill:
