So I have owned the 75 k 20 since last august I have only been driving it daily since January 1st since then I have been just keeping it on the road and safe as I can make it roll down the roads.The po cobbled this thing together.I noticed that on Monday my steering started getting a little sloppy! So I drove about 6 miles to pick up supplies went to pull out of the parking lot at the paint store and bang . two of the three bolts ( supposed to be 4 ) that hold the steering box to the frame snapped. All I could do is put another bolt into it to get it to steer so I could go to work a mile or so down the road
so here is the steering box with the 2 broken bolts
The frame looks good
here is the problem the spacers were never installed with the bolts
1 spacer and 3 bolts I have crossmember spacers from my old 84 that are the same size hopefully I can get the broken bolts out of the steering box .I am also installing new draglinks off to the parts store I go!

new draglinks I had to go to auto zone and buy made in China duralast parts but I can not wait for 4 days for advance to get them I have to go to work i n the morning and yeah its raining lol when it rains it pours
the broken bolts came out with ease
