Need Suggestions and Opinions

Hi I want to get a new grille for my truck. I need some opinions, I'm not good at visualizing what it will look like from just looking at a picture. I have a black 1985 k10, ill attach a picture. Let me know what you guys think would be the best. Thanks!!

     Do you have options you are thinking about ?  I personally have always liked the correct stock grille for the correct year.  I have never been a fan of tube or phantom grilles.

I like the stock grille too but I want something more show like. More chrome. I like my black emblem I have but my grille is chipping and stuff so I'm looking for a new one and just need some suggestions. I don't want some crazy one I want one similar to the stock one.

     What is yours made out of ?  If it is metal you could get it chromed.

Here's a (possibly) dumb idea... Get a roll of that adhesive backed chrome tape they sell to install on lower body areas, in my New England days people used to to hide/cover rot repairs, but take that and cut it, put it on the part of the grille that gets painted body color then reinstall the bowtie. Instant combination of both worlds, factory look but chrome.

Thanks for all the help guys. I think what I am actually going to do if I don't get it chromed I am looking into converting to a later 1990's grille I just like them and Ive been reading up on it. Thanks!
