1989 GMC R3500 Belt, pulleys and bracket help please...
« on: July 16, 2014, 05:19:13 pm »
OK, trying to find more pieces to my crew cab project puzzle. Truck is a 1989 GMC R3500 with(had) a 7.4 TBI. Has AC. Has the smog/air pump yet. The PO took the 7.4 out I think he took some brackets that I will need to find/buy. But I don't know what they look like. My question is does anyone have pictures of the belt drive, the pulleys and mainly the brackets in their truck similar to mine? Looks like it had a serpentine belt on the alternator. AC ran a v-belt along with the power steering pump. Any pictures, part numbers for the brackets would be most helpful, Thanks!

Sean -

All the manuals are available in the Tech Pages.  Noodle around in the manuals for your year and see if you can find what you need:  http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=25639.0
