I had a buddy of mine take the intake off of my truck, because I had to go to town and help a family member. I gave him the exact orders of "When you take a part off, label it with a piece of this tape. and set it in the back of the truck with the bed topper"... Guess what he DIDN'T do?
Luckily, I have most everything figured out, except one thing. and that's this flared nipple type thing on the intake by the water neck. This picture is off a corvette intake, not mine. But I'm sure it's the same concept, as they intake looks almost identical, and it has the piece I'm talking about.
Upper left hand corner of the entire intake, right above where the waterneck/thermostat are placed.
I assume there's a line that goes from it somewhere, but not sure on where. I have A LOT of tubes and such that came off the engine and aren't going back on, that's from the A.I.R pump. I didn't really care to take it off, but I had to replace head gaskets, and it was a matter of a few bolts to remove them, so I figured why not.
Thanks in advance everyone! This thing will be up and running once I get the moo-lah for a new battery. Mine's done for. (Any suggestions? Mine was a "Super Start Economy". I see good and bad about Optima batteries, and I don't want to mess with that price for now. I have two 12" subs on a 500 watt amp, and two 6"x9" on a 250 watt amp. so it's 750 total. and I don't play the subs while the truck isn't on.
