TODAY is a Great Day to visit our Store and order the parts you need for your truck ! ! !
You said you have a 91 steering wheel in it, what year is the column that is in it ? Is is a standard column or tilt ? I do not think our trucks are 6 bolts, unless I am misunderstanding what you mean.
The stock steering wheel attaches directly to the end of the steering column shaft. It uses a single tapered hole in the center of the steering wheel hub for a pressed, interference fit onto the splined steering shaft and is retained to the shaft by a single threaded nut. Aftermarket steering wheels typically attach to the steering shaft through an adapter. The adapter attaches to the steering shaft similarly to the stock steering wheel. The six-hole bolt pattern refers to the attachment pattern of the steering wheel to the adapter.
