Definitely going new. Just don't know if it's gonna be 30, 70, or 140 dollars. Edelbrock just seems like show so no thanks on that one.

Your link is to 216 pages of water pumps.

I've used new and rebuilt pumps both with success...

When I worked for a mom & pop autoparts store I was given a pump rebuilt sometime in the 1970's that I ran for 16 years and over 100,000 miles. That pump never leaked on me... The bushings seized and it broke apart!

FYI - The Edelbrock aluminum water pumps are high quality components that deliver on their promise of improved cooling over a broad RPM range - I know this from personal experience with them.  Their only drawback besides price is the need to impose tighter controls on electrolysis.

Oh crap. Sorry. The brands are ToughOne for $28 (heavy duty version for $68), Weiand Action +Plus for $140, and edelbrock for $270. Definitely not doing the edelbrock. I can't justify it. If I had a billion dollars sure.

Going with the Weiand. Aluminum, steel impeller, higher flow, solid American company according to reviews. Easy decision. Do me right Weiand.
