How to clean up oil off the paint?

i spilled a little motor oil in the bed.  What's the best way to clean it up?

sop it up the best you can with rags.  Simple Green full strength for the rest

      Any detergent with Bytul in it will clean it up.  If you do not want to go that harsh on your paint, pick up some that has the correct enzymes in it to eat the oil which will lift it off the surface.

I like blue dawn dish soap. breaks down the oil real nice, isnt too harsh on the paint, and you dont have to worry about what you do with the waste disposal after....

WD-40 and a roll or paper towels works too

I once replaced an injector line on one of my 18 wheelers.   Had to remove the Oil line running to the turbo     And forgot to re install it  when I cranked the engine back up.    Had the hood up on the 18 and my pristine 74 bronco parked next to it with the door open

That nasty thick oil sprayed the metal door panel and dash and vinyl seat

Took me 3 cans of WD and a dozen rolls of paper towels to get it cleaned up.

And for the next couple of years when it would get real hot  some oil would ooze out from various places
