Heater Delete help
« on: August 12, 2014, 11:48:16 am »
I am getting ready to put my engine in the truck, and smoothed the firewall, so I don't have a heater anymore.  What is the best way to block off the ports that went to the heater core on the engine? Should I just plug both with rubber plugs, or do I need to route a new hose from the 2?

I hope to get the engine in and fired up this weekend as long as my buddy can come over to help me wrestle it in.

If you mean the ports on the block itself, you just need to unthread the nipples and put pipe plugs in it with a little RTV/thread sealant.
