newer bench seat in my old truck

My dad has a 1990 chevy k1500 4x4. I am wating the bench seat out of his truck. It has the split driver and passenger seat woth a center console.  I cant find one of my 1985 k10 scottsdale 4x4.  So I am hoping I can use his seat with little or no modifications to the seat or my truck. Any help here would be great.

     There has been other members who have done this, have you tried to do a search ?  I do not have the links handy right now.
