quadrajet carb
« on: September 17, 2014, 04:22:53 pm »
I am trying to find the stock jet sizes of the 1976 chevy 2500 HD 4x4 quadrajet carb. I previously owned one and put in a low rpm cam and lowered the jets two sizes and got 20 mpg with my 44" mud boggers in the city and was pushing 475 ft lbs torque at the same time. I could spin all four of the the 44's on dry pavement so I want to duplicate this in my 91 chevy and I cant find the stock jet sizes.

call cliffshighperformance.com     Chances are they will know; you may need the number off the carb, though.

I just rebuilt a quadrajet carb in my 79. I bought this carb back in the late 80's. It was already rebuilt. It has 71 jets in it.
It's been a LONG time since I have been called a newbie. Just sayin....

1979 GMC K15 355, SM 465, 205, 3.73 Dana 44 with a Spartan Locker, 12 bolt Eaton limited slip and 6 inch lift with 36 x 12.50 Super Swamper TSL's.
