Mule Lick Repo Company
« on: October 17, 2014, 07:14:25 pm »
Hello everyone, I am building a 1986 Chevy C10.
I am from Iowa and all we see are rusty trucks or repaired trucks, but I got a rust free Nevada truck dropped on my doorstep pretty much . I live along interstate 80 and the former owner over heated the engine and blew it up and offered it up for $100 and a ride across Illinois to the Indiana border. So now it will have a new life here in the land of rust. So this will be a slow and ver unconventional build beginning this winter, and it will be a cheap build but not cheaply built labor wise. It will be getting a crown vic front suspension and a 4 link in the rear, engine options are a mercedes OM617 5cyl diesel or a 472 375 hp 525 lbs torque caddy. It will be built into a slammed summer driver. The name "Mule Lick Repo Company" came from researching Nevada ghost towns so it will get company signs painted on it eventually. Here it is as I got it all covered in fizz bomb primer

Since this will be a "shop truck" i sprayed it with satin clear with a little brown metallic to darken it up
