New to me 85 C10 project
« on: October 28, 2014, 09:40:44 pm »
New member here from wonderful Parris Island, SC.  I recently acquired an 85 C10 in a trade and like everybody else on here, I already have the itch to make it my own.  My first undertaking was swapping out the little 305 for a 383 w/ cast iron dart heads and a bunch of other goodies, and a serpentine system off an old camaro to get rid of that old 2 belt system.  Its a slow process since I only get a few hours of week to play around with it, but its starting to come around.  Once I get the transmission up and running and make some custom radiator brackets i'll finally be able to do more than just spend money on it.

I thought my days of modifying were over, but they've been reawakened.  I'll be sure to get some pictures up in the next few days.
