More Headers
« on: April 13, 2006, 12:29:00 pm »
has anyone had any experiences with or thought about using the Patriot "Clipper" style headers for their c-10. They look like a mid-length that would probably work great on lowered trucks. Just lookin for everyone's opinion, I'm buying some headers real soon and havin a hard time deciding which one's to get. I looked for some pics of the chevelle headers mentioned in another post but couldn't find any. If anyone's got a pic with those headers post it up please.

The part # is 737-h8021 on jegs website. they come in raw or coated.

Im considering the same swap as well, but I found a really nice set of Chevelle headers on Ebay heres the link:

cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/w...AMEWA%3AIT  Good price, they will work with straight or angle plug heads and are ceramic! Let me know what you do, Im interested to find out if the Patriots or the Ebay headers fit well.  I have full length Hooker Super Comps and they drag on speed bumps, now Im considering bags so they really have to go soon.

The Dynomax 3/4 length headers that were listed in the other post look just like those in the ebay add.  The don't come down past the oil pan.  A good number of 73-87 owners who are severly dropped with a SBC are using these.

I know nothing about the other headers mentioned.
