New from UT 84 k10
« on: November 07, 2014, 10:34:54 am »
New from Utah been on here lurking for a couple years, finally decided to introduce myself. I have always been into The square bodies. Bought a 76 Silverado and fixed up when I was in high school sold it always wanted another one. a couple weeks ago I found a really clean 77 short bed Scottsdale 4x4 with no engine for 400$. after I bought it I was telling my friend about it when he told me he had a 84 Silverado that he wasn't going to do anything with that he would sell to me for 500$. So after talking to the wife and selling the 77 I am a proud owner of a 84 short bed Silverado 4x4. So here it is a one owner, bone stock 116,000 mile Silverado.

It needs some love but that's not hard for me. has a lot of surface rust, needs cab corners and a little patch behind the passenger side rear tire. but it will be fun.

Welcome from WVA. I would have kept both trucks! Hey, you can never have too many right. You have to have a parts chaser truck. You didn't know that? Seriously though, it looks like you have a good start.

Thanks everyone, and yes that's the 77 on the trailer I would have kept it, it was very clean but if you notice my back yard I have a lot of projects. I like this 84 because no one has really messed with it and its 100% complete. I'm excited to get working on it.
