86 Chevy Silverado 4x4 A/C Help!!!

Hey yall! Ive been on the site for a little while as I continue with my build process. The problem I currently have is with the A/C. I recently replaced everything in the system and I am running a Sanden 508 compressor due to the bracket setup I was required to use. It is a one wire compressor. On the old setup there was a light green wire and a dark green wire. I know the light green wire gives power to the system and runs into the cycling switch. Do I need to run the dark green wire to the compressor? If I run the light green wire to the compressor will this give it constant power as long as the A/C is on? If I do that how will the compressor cycle? It blows cold but I worry about burning it up. Any advice how to wire this compressor???

I am trying to set up my A/C on my truck but due to my bracket setup I had to run a single wire Sanden 508 compresser. How am Insupposed to wire this? Should I run the dark green wire from the cycling switch or do I use the light green wire. If I run the light green wire will that give it constant power and not cycle? Im so confused!!!

I think the dark green goes to compressor coil and the light green goes to idle-up solenoid.Check and see if light green is hot with a\c in on position with cycling switch disconnected

I thought I did but I've been out of town. I know with the in cab switch turned on the light green is hot but I cant remember if I checked it without the cycling switch. Ill check when I get home. Thanks!

Ok so now that Christmas ans New Years have passed I've finally found a little extra time to tinker with it again. The light green wire does have power without the cycling/pressure switch disconnected. I tested the dark green wire to the compressor and had no power to engage the clutch. Where in the world does the dark green wire go??? It seems like it has to go somewhere and if I only connect thru the light green wire it will not cycle. Ive looked at schematics and it says the light green is for a fast idle solenoid. I really don't want to take it to the overpriced local a/c shops here in town. I never thought using a different compressor could be such a pain.
