Super swampers tsl's??
« on: December 25, 2014, 08:03:26 pm »
I'm planning on doing a complete suspension swap on my 85 k10 it's going to have a 6" lift and I want to run 36/14.50/16.5 I might consider running 16's though. I've heard that super swamper tsl radials are to soft. I want a good tire that will last awhile and I like the meaty looks of the tsl's. What have any of you ran that has that size? I'm just trying to get some info so I can get everything ordered and get it done. I know that I'm going to have to do a little fender trimming but I think 36's look the best with a 6" lift.

I had 15/35-15 TSLs on my '77 when it was still a K10.

I loved them. They ran out excellent for a bias tire. Real smooth. Nice bawl, sounded like an airplane. Would go through some of the wildest mud I could find. Cleaning was NO problem (tread, truck not so much).  ;D

But as you may already know, they are about a 20,000mi tire.  :(

I LOVE the 36x12.5-16 TSL Radials. I have ran them and they ride and drive very good and are very good in mud! Plus they just look to die for on a square!

The Firestone destination mt looks good

I hate the new tires with the fancy flames and pants legs on the sidewalls

Looks like. 8 yr old designed em
