88-98 Front Cap Conversion

Can you perform a 88-98 front clip conversion on a 1973-1987 truck? I've heard you can do a swap, but I was wondering if anyone could help me.

88-98: Not without ALOT of fabrication (cutting/welding/filling etc).  Plus Nothing will line up as the 88-98 trucks don't have the body line like the 73-87's do.  I think your sources were talking about the 88-91 front clip.

Now a 88-91 front clip from a Blazer or Suburban, sure that is easy.
