Don't you just love free stuff!
« on: December 28, 2014, 08:31:09 pm »
So a month or so ago I managed to get a nice gsxr750 for free. I messed around with it for a while got it to run but it was really rough. Tonight I got an engine also for free and it came with the harness and  ecu. I burnt a coil stick doing my test so I swamped one from the do or, and CPS... Wouldn't start ! On a hunch I swamped the ECU and on the 3rd try she fired up and ideled nicely. Shut her down put the took out the old ECU and mounted the new one. She fired right up...MAN I LOVE FREE STUFF!!!!

Nice. You gonna sell or keep? I would sell, not a crotch rocket guy, be good source of cash for your truck. I'm more of a Harley guy.

I'm not much of street bike guy myself anymore. Normally I ride a M109R but I can't pass up free. I would sell it but now this wifey wants it to be her bike...she may changer her mind and I may just sell it. I only have the PRI e of a set of plugs and a little shrink rap for the rectifier regulator.
How does this happen lol
Irish, here's a little secret. No matter how angry or unapproachable a person may seem they all want to feel wanted. Easiest way for that is simply talking to them...one thing leads to another and you got a new friend oh and sometimes free stuff!!

Just remember,  it's not ok to take a punch in the face just because it's free. Lol

Bringing this one back and guess why!

I GOT MORE FREE STUFF!
this time a turbo kit that's gonna be part of the GSXR Man-Kart project. I will post pics later when I'm done helping the kids with their homework.
