Orange is nice but its not a '69 Camaro.

Your motor looks great.
You bring up a good point about orange 69 camaros.

The engine is going back into the truck in the first picture at the beginning of the topic. 1978 GMC K35 4x4. Very nice Camaro by the way, is it yours?

  I wish it was.

It's a mild 350 with a small roller cam & vortec heads, manual valve body turbo 350, and a Dana 60 with 4.10's.
Its a bulletproof set up that's my daily driver in the nice weather.

Its an old drag car that was redone for the street.
The Dana 60,  trans, and solid motor mounts have been in the car since the late 70's. Kinda overkill for the current motor, but I consider those as part of the cars history.
Back in its day it ran a built up 350 LT1 & 5.13 gears and ran mid 11's in the 1/4 mile.

Here are some more painted parts for the engine build and one t-case/trans bracket. Not really worth posting but no football so had a little time. Waiting on a few more parts for the engine and the trans is at the shop getting rebuilt. It should be done by the time all of the salt is off the road.

It has been to long since my last post but the engine is in and the TH400 is rebuilt and installed as well. I still need to bolt up the t-case and take care of a few little things but should be running by the end of this month.
