Here's another one for ya. I know the inner fenders look different from like a 79 to an 86. Will one work in place of the other?
Thanks

I wondered. I have a project 87 in my garage, I replaced both inner fenders with good used ones. As of yet it still sits with no front fenders. I had to modify the older inner fender to bolt to my rad. support. Just eyeing it, it seems like the fender will fit. I guess not.
Thanks alot

OK Here is an update. I finally got new fenders. While the passengers fit correctly(correct inner fender) the drivers isn't a direct fit(using an earlier inner fender) So far it looks like all I have to do is to trim a small portion off the lower rear lip of the inner fender and redrill the inner fender to bolt to the stock holes in the rad. support. While the older inners are more rounded looking, with small modifications they should work. I think it would be an easier swap to use a newer inner fender with the older style fender, but there may be a small gap at the lower rear. Hope this helps somebody.

Finished install today. The lowermost rear inner fender bolt hole did not line up but other than that the rest fit as explained in previous post. It looks like the older fenders didn't flare out as much behind the front wheel as the newer ones do.

Wouldn`t any body part from a 1973-1980 interchange. Parts from 1981-1987 are the same too. There is a little bit of differance between 1980 (older style) and 1981(newer style) isn`t there???? If Iam wrong somebody correct me ,,,please

I think you are right. I was trying to put like a 77 inner in an 87 fender though. It all worked out in the end. Should be priming/painting soon.
