Will a 95 14 bolt diff bolt in???

So I found a great deal locally on a 14 bolt ff that's already got 4.10s in it. Witch Im about to swap over to. My question is does anyone know if the spring perches are the same width apart as are trucks? Also is the driveline u joint the same size? This would save me acouple bucks if so. ( by the way this is for my 81 k20 that has a semi float under it now) any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

'95 14-bolt FF is a good axle. It will have most of the improvements in it namely the bigger pinion bearings.

Spring perches will have to be moved.

The 14-bolt FF will use a 1350 series u-joint. If this is what your K20 has then you are in business.

Google "pirate 14-bolt bible". Excellent resource.

the perches and shock mounts  will have to be cut off and new ones welded on
several companies make replacement perches

im curious how your swap went?
i installed a 14 bolt full floating rear end that was out of a early 90's were thinking
dont know exact yr, it was a pickup trailer when i bought it.
whe had it rebilt and put in in my 84 chevy half ton stepside.
it went rite end know problems except two,

emergency cables are  different for the back brakes, and had to by what is known as a "$#*() joint"
had to stay with same diameter of u joint for drive line, it stayed the same, but the yaolk u foint
fork was bigger, so a offset was needed, thanks napa, they had it in stock!!
