We just did this
swapped a hydraulic clutch trans in a 77
Let me take some pics and measurements

I tries to use the measurements but best is to just eyeball it

I can tell ya why the measurements won't work for anything other than a mild ballpark reference

You need to drill the large center hole first
Then slide the MC into the hole
Then just drill the bolt holes thru the firewall by sticking the drill bit into  the holes on the MC

Do you have a Hyd clutch assembly
Or are you making youre own?

We made our own by cobbling together stuff
But if I did it again I'd buy a generic hot rod MC that's has the threaded  rod
Or just cut off the rod on the stock MC and thread it and use a clevis or rod end

That way you can adjust it a little

And it hard to find a stock MC resiorvior
You have to buy a used one
Think ours was from a Honda ranger pickup or something because it actually had mounting tabs built into it

Got it on eBay
We bought a stock MC hose just for the fittings
The hose wouldn't work and we wound up having a local shop that makes hydraulic hoses make up a new one using our ends
We swapped in a NV3500 from a 2005 silverrado
And took the factory  fitting from the NV 3500 slave cylinder to the shop and they did a fantastic job of cutting off the press on factory end and welding  a new fitting on that they could then thread on the new hose they made

The factory NV 3500 fitting is steel that transitions to a plastic press on deal that's only avail at a GM dealer and wouldnt connect up to the squarebody MC on the other end

What trans are you installing ?

that will make the swap very easy

we couldnt find a factory hydro pedal assembly for less than $200

Hang on I will go measure mine
 But mines not factory
So may be a little off

Anyhoo drill the center hole first
And slide the MC in
Have a helper hold it while you use the mounting holes in he MC as a guide

Just stick the drill thru he holes and drill the firewall

this is what I used, got it from another site

again, dont drill the small holes using this diagram, there is NO way to get them right,
you will need to mark the small holes using a grease pencil or fingernail polish or something,
to measure back from small holes to mark the large hole

also its alot easier if you use one of the step drill bits for the large hole
