Unbolt all 4 u bolts, both shocks, both brake calipers, and remove the driveshaft. Move the axle into position with a floor jack.

I usually use a ratchet strap for pulling/aligning stubborn parts acts as a #extrasetofhands.

I was thinking disconnect the brake lines put it on wheels and roll it back. Does anyone see a problem with this?

Do you have a floor jack?
Is the frame safety supported on jack stands?
Sometimes you gotta manhandle the axle back into place.
With everything I listed above disconnected, a 10 bolt should move with a little persuasion.
The problem trying to roll the axle backwards on the tires is that the axle will try to "roll" downward.
Just take your time. Line up one side at a time. Once you get 1 side lined up, install the U bolts just tight enough to get the spring center pin engaged on the spring pad. Then repeat the process on the other side.
Are you going to run a new steering arm with the lift?
