Carpet and Floormat

I have a couple questions:

I. My truck interior is missing the back half of the carpeting. The blue carpet terminates just under the front of the seats. I know Chris sells some. Are they one-piece only, or can I get a two-piece? And as far as color is concerned, can I determine the right color by any info on my truck's ID sticker? (I see "BLUE SPEC CUST CLOTH" and "COLOUR KEYED FLOOR MATS" on the card)

II. This may seem a little OCD, but on the driver's side what is the EXACT position the floor-mat is supposed to be in? I have mats from Classic Parts and it covers the high-beam floorbutton. If I am to make a nice round hole in the mat for the button to go through (is that how the OEM mats worked?), I want to make sure the mat is positioned correctly.

the carpers i seen have either a cut for the high beam switch done at home or they will have a hole cute with a fabric type o ring. but i will also add this lets say you can buy just the rear half it wont match the front due to different types of dye or fade from weather. is this a crew cab or reg pick up?

It's a reg pickup.

There are two issues:

First, only the front half of the the carpeting exists. From the fire firewall to just under the seat and the sides is carpeted. Is this how the carpet came OEM.. in two pieces? Just how bad a mismatch are we talking about? You'd never see the "seam" as it would be under the seats. I'll post a pic bellow.

Second, it's the black rubber floormat that needs a hole made for the high-beam button; the carpet is fine there (It has the ring built into the carpet).

Anybody have their original, OEM floormats? Do you have any pictures? how do they line up?

Still want to know how the OEMs fit with the floor-button.

No carpet under the seats and many, if not most, trucks had a cardboard tray behind the seat.

Are you saying your has nothing under the seat at all but has that sound deadening?  Is this supposed to be original?  What trim level?
You have a screw hole in the back tray were the cardboard tray used to be, so it is missing..
Your floor mats are not original based on what I have ever seen.

The cardboard is out. I'm working on the storage scheme for behind the seat, thus I would like blue carpet up that point.

My floormats are not original, but from what I can gather from your pic it looks like there is a quarter-circle cutout in the top-left corner for the button. Thanks.

I hear people talk about "ACC" carpeting. How does it compare to the OEM? Any pics?

What you are looking at in that pic is ACC, it is all I use in my truck and all I sell.  Many people re-label it...

Does the carpet have the vinyl sewn on the edges like the OEM? What about the hole for the high-beams and for connecting them to the firewall tabs?

A lot of people take a hot punch and burn the hole for the switch and or bolt holes on carpets that go that far back. Also I've had friends take it to an upholstery shop after it's been marked and had the vinyl hem put in. My brother has also gone to a "carpet warehouse" type store and bottom bulk auto carpet in sheets.

You have to locate the high beam hole the carpet kits come uncut.  In general there is no trim depending on the trim level of the truck
