Steering Arm Removal
« on: January 29, 2015, 08:32:10 am »
Im trying to install a new steering arm for my 4 inch lift. Do i need a pitman puller for the draglink? Or can i just bang it out?

Pry on it in the direction to come out, & swat the side / end of the arm with a hammer. The drag link end will pop out after a few good whacks.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

You mean a pickle fork?
That will work too, but will ruin the rubber boot.
