85 Chevy extended cab
« on: January 31, 2015, 09:17:40 pm »
Hello everyone, just thought I would introduce myself and my truck! I recently acquired an 85 Chevy extended cab. It's a CVI (custom vehicles international) truck. It has a 454, 4 speed with granny low. It's is 4wd and has a gm 14 bolt rear end and I recently converted the rear drums to disc. Looking forward to giving and receiving info on here! Thanks for looking!

Welcome to the club.  Do you have the CVI foil sticker on the drivers side post?  Here is mine.  Welcome from NW Indiana

That's a beautiful truck zieg! The only sticker I've found is on the back driver side tailgate that says CVI. I don't know a whole lot about these extended cab trucks but when I saw it I had to get it. Luckily I knew the guy and he gave me a heck of a deal on the truck!

Now that's something I could live with. Super super truck.
Each day is a gift. So make the best of it! And that can happen with a 4x4 Burban.

Nice CVI truck you found there. So your sticker of the CVI build was on the inside glove box door? I never could find mine.

Thank you everyone!! Yeah mine was strangely enough inside the glovebox door. I hadn't noticed it until I was asked about the foil sticker!
