New Tires! Yay!
« on: February 01, 2015, 06:28:54 am »
I finally got tires on my truck. I've been waiting 3 weeks for these, and it turns out they had them in stock the whole time.
Here's a pick of the truck with new tires, and a bit of a write up can be found here: https://myuglytruck.wordpress.com/2015/02/01/tire-time/

Thanks!

That paint job isn't in any kind of condition. The lighting hides the fact that much of the body work was done with duct-tape, then painted over. For Real.

Maybe I'll posts some pics of that later.

It looks great at 20 feet or more. :D

Did the road noise go up when you changed to the A/T tires?  I bought some ugly 31" A/T tires and had them mounted on the factory rims and the noise is unbearable at 50 MPH plus.  If you open the back glass, it sounds like bowling balls rolling down a tin roof.

I didn't notice worse road noise with these tires, however the original tires were old and hard, and the new tires are soft winter tires.
