Wheel play - is it okay?
« on: February 05, 2015, 02:12:05 pm »
I'm in the process of redoing the brakes on my 1980 k20 brakes. (only "in the process" because I'm waiting for new ss brake lines since the originals burst)

Since I have to do the front rotors I pulled the hubs off and in cleaning up the spindle I noticed it has marginal (1/16") vertical play. Is this normal? Is it affecting the quality of my steering? Is it something I should fix?
