Hey from DC
« on: February 07, 2015, 10:56:04 am »
Hey guys, my name is Alex and I just recently purchased my first c10.  I've had countless hot rod projects over the years but this is the first square body.  Currently it sports a mildly cammed 350/350 and a new 3.40 12 bolt open diff.  My plan is to install my recently acquired LS2/4L65e GTO set up.  I've already had some fun issues with this baby to include snapping an axle and watching the wheel and half of the axle roll past me...lol.

Enough boring chat....here are some pics.

Anyone know where I could find a replacement dash for my 74 C-10?  It has a crack on top and I want to totally restore the truck.

Thanks guys.  I was unsure of the orange when I first bought it.  A teenager owned it before me and I didn't really care for the orange he painted it.  Now that I've added the white, it's grown on me a bit.  When I tear it down in the future I may keep the theme going only with a satin copper and satin off white pearl.  ;)

the one tone is a little odd but the two tone i like and reminds me of sherbet ice cream and i like that too. its weird how a white stripe can change the whole truck
