Hello all, Just checking in from the Joplin, Mo. area...Recently purchased a mostly rust free but butt-ugly '79 C10 longbed 350/350 with the intent of doing a mild resto...great forum from what i've seen so far, been trolling for a while, decided to join and hopefully contribute to and/or gain from the collective knowledge here!

Thanks for the welcomes!...even a SE Kansas guy in there!......I'll try to get some pics up soon. Like I said, she's ugly  8).....Original color was Shamrock Green, previous owners painted the interior red (apparently without any prep work, it's flaking) and bomb canned the exterior flat black which is fading away and worn off in several places so it looks like some kinda really bad camo job lol. Oh and can't forget the apparently hand painted "racing stripes" on the tailgate for some reason and custom vinyl "tuck and roll" red dash cover.
 So, long story short, I got my work cut out for me, it's going to be a long process, but hopefully she'll be something I'm not ashamed to drive down the road someday! lol
