Seat Belt Removal

Removing the seat belts.
One bolt on the floor, and one in the corner for each side yes?
It's a large bolt, rather hard to twist. Do these bolts just go strait into thread in the truck body or are there other nuts somewhere I have to worry about? Any problems or tricks I should anticipate?
Thank.

You won't get the bolts out without using a impact wrench. Even with my 110v Milwaukee Gun it took a bit.

I've had my seat belts out a few times, they are pretty tight but they should come out with a socket and wrench. I've never had to use any power tool to get them out. Yours could be rusted or stuck or cross threaded or who knows what. Usually some kind of penetrent grease/lube, like WD40 or similar should make it a little easier.

I would suggest aero kroil if you can get it and a breaker bar. I had mine out and they were just threaded into the cab.

The factory used thread locker glue
Get an impact wrench
Save you a lot of elbow grease

Got the corners off.
BTW, notice how nice, clean and shiny the socket is. I'd like to keep it that way. Is that Loc-Tite on the threads, should I use the same when reattaching?
Sincerely,

That is thread locker on it. I would put some back on it when you reinstall...
