selector valve replacement and sending units
« on: February 20, 2015, 06:32:44 pm »
So basically I need to replace the selector valve in my 86 Silverado. I have the valve and 1 new sending unit. The only problem i have is what to do with the vent ports. Really looking for someone that has done this before. Thanks.

the valves should just swap out should look the same and all. but i must ask are you sure its your problem? have you checked your selector switch?

When I bought the truck the main (right) tank was in the bed and the valve was bypassed. Truck is my weekend warrior. Never have a clue how much gas I really have lol.
