Im reinstalling the ac temp. control module and im having problem with how the vacuum select valve hooks up to back of controller, seems like something missing from the backside of vacuum valve to make it operate when attached

what year truck?  Did you check the Service manuals in the Technical section?

I went to salvage yard and bought the whole controller thanx, a part was missing from the original, didnt know what it was until i looked at the new one
