Headlights issue (yes it's different I promise!)
« on: March 11, 2015, 09:11:15 pm »
Not really an issue persay, they work, but I ordered new lights from   and they are great! bright and look nice, but the connectors on the wiring harness don't fit snug and thus fall off and everytime I drive at night I need to reconnect them and hope they don't fall off while I'm driving. I've tried filing down the plastic in hopes that worked but it didn't.  Best be to go out buy new wiring with new connectors that plug onto the back off the headlights?

Use needle nose pliers and crimp down the connections at the headlight..

Not sure what you mean by that.  I have a hard plastic shell that sits on the wire side, that slides onto the prongs from the light, I don't have anywhere to crimp...

The problem is that hard plastic doesn't conform to the curve of the new lights. You can trim the plastic or get a difference harness and splice it in.
