Engine reinstallation: vacuum hose and wire with no home!

I recently pulled the 350 out of my 1984 k20 ( 4 speed ) and upon reinstallation, I can't figure a couple things. One: there is a plate on the passenger side of the manifold with two hard lines coming out, I think the bottom one hooks to that choke assembly with the orange colored hose. The other one has to go rearward but I have no idea what it goes to. This plate doesn't appear on any vacuum diagrams. Any ideas?
Also I have a little black wire on the driver side that I can't find a plug for. Any help is much appreciated!

I think the hose going backwards would go to the heat riser on the exhaust manifold. the black wire should go to the temp sender on the block just under the exhaust manifold.

Thanks for the reply. I will check out that temp sensor.
As for the heat riser, I already have that hooked up. It gets its vacuum from the tsv ( or tvs, I can never remember ).

Those aren't actually vacuum.  They are for the divorced choke, the bottom one is connected right, it supplies warm air to the choke to open it. the top tube should go to a fitting on either the back of the carb or the bottom of the air-filter housing (it should pull in fresh filtered air)

Ah yea, that's why they don't show up on a vacuum diagram. Thanks for the help!
