Okay, its rusted and wrecked, now what should I do?

Hey, I've got a 75 Chevy Scottsdale 10 longbed, which was a gift from my grandfather on my 16th birthday. A month after he gave it to me, I ended up selling it, now I've gotten it back, now that I'm 18, but I had a wreck a few weeks ago, and she needs the entire front clip (both fenders, hood, grille, bumper, all moldings and trim, all the sheetmetal, radiator supports and such). And the bed is rusted beyond salvaging...

This truck is otherwise in pretty good shape, the 350/2bbl. is just as strong as it was when it was rebuilt 10 years ago, the TH350 is freshly rebuilt, and the frame is 100% intact (it wasn't damaged in the wreck, it was the only thing at the front of the truck that was spared other than the radiator.)

My dad has a 1985 Chevrolet Suburban he is parting out, and I've found a 1984 (long)bed for it, will the parts from these fit directly (whole front end swap, and whole bed swap)? If not, what will it take to make them fit (I'm in a position to get all the parts free)?

You shouldn't have problem bolting the newer boday parts on.  The bed is a direct replacement.  You'll have to use the inner fenders off the 'burban to make everything fit up front.  There might be some other small mods you'll have to do to get the newerr dog house on there.  Good luck.

Free is good. The 85 nose will fit, you are going to have to do a little cutting, fabricating, and welding as the hood hinges mount in the cowl of the 85 and to the fenders on the 75, and you will have to swap the wiper arms and trans mision assembly over from the 85 as well. The bolt holes are not quite the same for these so you will have to set them so they fit, put one bolt in each side to hold them then mark the other four holes to be drilled out. Those are basicly the only diference between the two. There are few other small differences but nothing that will cause any headaches. The tail light wiring harness may have diferent plugs as they changed from round to square in 84. I would do it sounds like you will have short money into it.

Will the front doors from the 85 Suburban fit in place of the 75 pickup's doors?

The doors on the pickup don't NEED replacing, but I'd rather replace them than refurbish and repair them at the moment as I'm short on time and cash...

Yes the doors will fit, but you must use the windows and all the internal trim from the burb.
