85 Clutch Porblems
« on: March 29, 2015, 11:17:46 am »
Hey guys, its been a long winter here in Maine and the snow banks are almost gone and I can finally get the truck back out.  I've posted my 85 swb c10 305 4spd granny before.  Had some carb issues, got that sorted out engine runs great now.  Took it out after getting the carb tuned and the clutch started going soft, by the time I got it back home it would not engage.  Feels like there is now pressure behind the pedal when I press down and it goes easily to the floor.  Any thoughts?  Thanks  Hoping I can get it back in the shop in a few weeks after the snows gone

Check your slave cylinder for leaks and the reservoir for fluid.  Chances are you need a new slave cylinder
