Awhile back I had mentioned that my truck would stumble at times and the check engine soon light would come on. After checking what the code was(33) I replaced the map sensor sense all my vacuum lines were good. It was not two days and it started again but mildly. That went on till today on the way home it did it so bad I pulled off the road. I was going up a hill and it did not have to power to clear it. I must include that this hill is were it acted up most of the time. Could the map sensor be bad again? Please let me know what you think !!

I would question your fuel pressure/gas filter

Just changed the fuel filter two weeks ago. My question about the pressure why does it only do this on the way from work on the same stretch of road?

Going uphill takes a little more fuel and if your fuel pump is getting weak? Pull a heavy trailer around, you may have the same thing happen on a flat road.

The fuel pump was replaced a month ago. I will look into the pressure though.

Guys I might have found the problem. I was doing some checking of connections and found the cruise control rod had been disconnected. This is the one that comes from the TBI to the diaphragm of the cruise control. The truck ran much better today after connecting the rod back up. Disregard the arrows in the picture.
Thanks
