Unwanted wires

What is the black box underdash with like a computer chip inside it dont jave ceuise anymore what all wires can i get ride of po left wires just hanging not taped off and some are stripped please help

Sorry 83 c 10 Scottsdale cant get a good picture of it its 1 inch thick 4 inches wide like six to 7 inches long

without seeing a picture im just guessing, maybe others know what options your truck might of came with but it almost sounds like a key less entry. how many wires are coming out of it? or plugs?

If its mounted directly underneath your column behind the lower vent cover, that is your factory cruise control module and it has 2 parts to it. If you are referring to the components above your accelerator pedal those are your various warning chimes/buzzers, etc.
